Based on other reviews I bought a suit that was 1 size bigger. It’s a little big on my son all over, though, he is fairly skinny for his age. Even with the extra room I notice that he no longer shivers at swim lessons in an indoor pool. I would recommend this suit.
On a different note. The suit has a smell to it that I can’t seem to get rid of. It has a very strong spandex smell and no amount of swimming or washing it has had any effect on the smell. It has been this way since I opened it. The smell gets stronger when the suit is wet. Hopefully this is an isolated incident and not all the suits carry such a strong spandex smell.

My son is 5 1/2, and on the small size. I purchased this suit in Youth 6, and it’s the perfect size for him. He loves it because it helps keep him warm during swim lessons–no more blue lips! I like how quickly it dries and how well-made it is. After having looked around at several swim shops, I think the price is fair, as well. And it looks very sporty and stylish.

I’m pleased with the product for the price we paid. It isn’t the finest quality, but it’s certainly good enough for swim class and chilly days at the beach. I’d buy them again.
