Popular Billiards Games For Beginners
When it comes to billiard games, there are many of them to choose from. The most popular of billiard games would consist of 8-ball and 9-ball, 9-ball being the more popular in my opinion. Cut Throat and One pocket are also popular, and in many places snooker takes the crown.
One type of billiards game that used to be popular is a game called Straight Pool. Its popularity has dropped over the years, as the game takes a lot longer to complete compared to 8-ball and 9-ball, which are much newer billiards games then Straight Pool.
Eight Ball has became a very popular billiards game due to the bar scene, as most sports bars have a pool table or two, sometimes more. There are many different rules to Eight Ball depending on where you are from but the basics is you have fifteen balls, the last one being the eight ball, one person gets stripes the other gets solids.
Nine Ball is popular because it is fast paced and the game can be won with a combination any time during the game. I would have to say that Nine Ball is probably the other most popular billiards game besides 8-ball.
